I have access 2003. I ran the Wizard and now it's running me. I am locked
out. I am the admin- it's my own personal laptop. I have the report but I
don;t know what to do with it. I'm afraid my database is corrupt- the error
message reads: The Microsoft Jet database engine stopped the process because
you and another user are attemping to change data at the same time. Error
3197. Because of that I ran the Wizard. I have a .bak it's not running, I get
the above message. After I ran the wizard, the database ran fine until I
tried to open it again, (closed it for a while and came back). Now I don't
have permission.
Please help...

I don't quite understand why you ran the wizard in response to that message,
but anyway try the following:

Rename the bak file to have a mdb extension.

Use Start, Search and locate all *.mdw files on your computer (be sure to
check hidden and system folders). Rename every mdw file it finds.

Open Access (it will create a new system.mdw for you). Now try to open the
renamed bak file.

I don't either... Some people shouldn't be left alone with technology.
Actually I did find your previous post regarding this problem and I did that.
Thank you very much for your responce
