One spoke wheel animation always starts at the top

I have a rounded rectangle in my presentation. I have added the wheel custom
animation (with 1 spoke) to the shape. The animation always starts at the top
of the shape. I want to somehow have it start at the bottom or side. I have
tried rotating the shape but it makes no difference. I am trying to avoid
having to draw the shape as separate lines. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm
using PP 2003.
Thanks in advance.

Hi

Try this combination:
1. Exit >Disappear - after previous
2. Emphasis > spin 90deg (or 180) counter clockwise very fast on click
3. Wheel after previous

Note you can manually type in a faster speed for the spin eg 0.1 secs

Thanks John,
This works a treat for the rectangle that I want to start at the bottom
(180deg spin), not as effective for starting at the side as the height &
width of the shape are different. But I think that I can work with this
anyway. Thanks again.

Sorry, my explaination wasn't clear.

Rotate the object 90 / 180 to the right on the slide BEFORE applying the
sequence so that the emphasis rotates it back to the start alignment. Make
sense??

Well, thank you!

Here here.
I played about with it for a while but couldn't figure out how to do it -
you really can make powerpoint bend to you will, can't you Mr Wilson.
