is there a way to fix that?
i just reformatted my computer and i have a cd here that says

DRIVERS AND UTILITIES

Dell Dimension ResourceCD

and it contains
device drivers
diagnostics and utilities
computer documentation.

will that help?

Yes, it's needed to install your device drivers for your Video, Audio, USB, etc.
