one-off templetes

Is there a difference in the implementation of one-off templetes between
Exchange 5.5 and Exchange 2003 . Do Custom one-off templetes created in
Exchange 5.5 Work with Exchange 2003 ? Is there a configuration that has to
be done for cusotm AD Configuration that has to be done one-off templetes to
work ?
