Hello everyone,
There is a program in Vista called "certificate services client", which has
three tasks in the "task scheduler". One of those tasks (the user task) can
never start up. It fails with these three errors:
_______________________
Task Scheduler failed to start
"\Microsoft\Windows\CertificateServicesClient\UserTask" task for user
"PARENTSPC\username". Additional Data: Error Value: 2147750692.
Task Scheduler failed to execute task
"\Microsoft\Windows\CertificateServicesClient\UserTask" . Attempting to
restart. Additional Data: Error Value: 2147750692.
I AM CONNECTED TO A NETWORK (via DSL), but I still get:
Task Scheduler could not start task
"\Microsoft\Windows\CertificateServicesClient\UserTask" because the network
was unavailable. User Action: Ensure the computer is connected to the
required network as specified in the task. If the task does not require
network presence, remove the network condition from the task configuration.
_______________________
I'm very hesitant to delete this task since it deals with certificates and
user logons.
Does anyone know how to fix it ?
Thanks
Paul
