The database I have set up is located on a general server (H Drive). During
todays "training" on using the new database, one user was unable to open the
Acess file. All others were able to open and run with out a problem. If he
tries to open the file from the shared H Drive folder he gets the following
message:
Microsoft Office Access can't find the database file 'HUBLIC\GP PURCHASE
ORDERS\681_PURCHASE ORDERS.mdb.'
If he opens Access and then tries to open the database he gets the following
message:
The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file 'H....". It is
already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view
its data.
At the time he tried this, no one was in the database and I have not set any
user permissions on this.
