One more question for you, regarding CONTACTS and CALENDERS

Thank you so much for your help Lon. This is quite a confusing
process. One more question:
I know that in ACT! one can schedule a meeting/to-do/personal event in
one's calender with a specific contact. Thus, the contact comes up in
the event box on the calender. I have been doing the test drive on
microsoft.com and I cannot figure out a way to do that. Any
suggestions?

As strange as it sounds, this is hard to do in Outlook and BCM. The way I
do it is in the Subject of the event -- "Meet with Pat Sullivan at
Starbucks" (or put Starbucks in the Location field). It's a few more
characters of typing but it's not ruined my life, so far. I always start
from the BCM Contacts list and right click, then choose Create, New
Appointment for Business Contact (or Task or Note, etc). That makes it link
to that BCM contact and get into history.

There is VBA code posted on this discussion group (if you search for BCM
Nexus) that will add the BCM Contact and their Phone to the Task List views
to make it more like you're used to in ACT!.

HTH,
Lon
