Hi!

Can I create a master slide and somehow
save this and use it for several independent
ppt presentations?

If not, how can I solve this problem:
I copy the content of a master slide,
paste it on the master slide of the new
presentation, but now the links of the
buttons are not "no1.ppt" but
"c:\path\to\some\folder\no1.ppt"
which i do not want.

Thanks
Philipp

That is the way it is normally done. Once you have created your master, save it as a template (.pot), and then base your presentations on that master.

If you are trying to create a Master with links to files, you will always
have this problem. Don't put the links on the Master, put them on the
slides in Normal View.

For information about creating masters/templates, see the tutorial at
http://www.indezine.com/products/powerpoint/ppcreatemp.html.
