One Front End with Multiple Back Ends

Good Morning,
The information below is from an older post and I was wondering if
someone could help me figure out exactly how to perform this task. My
questions are:
1)Where do I put the code in the below post?
2)How can I link my combo box? Do I just put a reference to the combobox
name into the code?
