I got a ATI Rago Pro Turbo 4mb AGP graphics card in my machine I`ve started
running it in 1024 * 768 16-bit colour however when I go to this site;

It scrolls down really fast but if I open a the same site in a new window it
scrolls down noticeably slower. Strange thing is if I go into display
properties and set the colour to 32-bit then back to 16-bit and load that
site in two windows both of them scroll down equally fast. But after loading
a few other apps its slow in the 2nd window again.

Can someone explain whats happening to the system thats causing this slow
down, is it the graphics card or memory subsystem (I`m running BX board with
PC100 SDRAM).

Also if I run the resolution 800 * 600 16-bit this problem doesn't happen
the site is always scrolling down fast. So it must be the graphics card but
what is it the video RAM amount or the graphics chipset itself. In other
words should I replace the card with an 8mb RAGE Pro Turbo or something like
TNT2 16mb.

Thanks - an explanation of why it happens would be nice too.
