Once I open and read email, it deletes when I close

I'm sure its something I did in the settings, but I don't want my emails that receive to dissapear once I've read it. I want the option to delete when I'm ready to delete it

Check your views - are are using one that hides read messages.

Its more than likely the messages are hidden and not deleted.

In the Outllok menu bar, click on "View"--"Current View" and make sure that
"Messages" has a tick by it. If the tick is by "Unread Messages" only those
that have not been read will be visible.

It sounds like your INBOX is set to view "Unread
Messages".

Go to your Inbox, click VIEW | CURRENT VIEW | MESSAGES.
