Onboard L2 cache?

Hello,
I read the specifications of some ASUS boards and could not find how
much L2 cache they have.
Is there any or the only L2 cache is within the processor?
 
Long ago and far away in another galaxy(K6-2 & P1 land)
L2 cache was moved from the motherboard to the cpu!

The L2 cache was moved from the mobo to the CPU and runs at the CPU
speed, since about 1999 or so.
