Hi there,

I will be leaving this newsgroup sometime soon. Going to do a bit of globe
trotting. I'm not sure when I will be back, it will be at least two or
three months time. The website will remain on line. Its unlikely that I
will be able to add much to it ... you never know. For those of you with my
private email address, it will still be valid but you should expect long
delays in answering any thing you send. Please don't send any files as I
will not be on broadband while I am away.

So, I will say cheerio now and wish you all good luck for the future and of
course either Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year
to you all.

I'll Be Back !!!

Where are you going John? Somewhere worth capturing on camcorder I hope!

Hi Jake,

USA (Detroit, Newport News VA, Washington D.C. maybe New York) Canada
(Niagara Falls) after that, its any ones guess. The date of leaving has now
been set back to February...but I am trying to arrange things (still) for
either before Christmas or the New Year. The last time we did this we got
stuck for almost a full day in Iceland. Iceland = grayscale picture of a
gray quarry. Airport is there one and only military airport, lounge is air
raid bunker with sloped and sliding walls of 2 foot thick concrete.

I can recommend the South Pacific for ultra video-friendly scenery and
people. Only an 8 hour flight from LA to French Polynesia, and no quarries!

Good luck and bon voyage for February.

Jake

Have a wonderful adventure!

Happy Holidays
