Hello,

I have an on-timer event that triggers every 15 minutes.
After 4-5 days it stopped triggering. The Function
attached to the trigger is working normally. Is there a
limit to the number of times it will trigger? I
appreciate any ideas. MVPs-Thanks for your great work.

David,

Not sure what the answer is to your question, but given that Access is not
the greatest in terms of cleaning up after itself (especially given that
fact that the file size continually grows with continues use of VBA
functions) have you considered using the windows scheduler or the AT command
to schedule your process?

Regards,
Dan

Dan,
I used task scheduler for some time however, it wants a
new password every six months. I'm not sure why that is
built in but it seems to be. I am not familiar with the
AT command. What is that?

David

The AT command is the command line version of the Task Scheduler. Not sure
what you mean that it wants a new password every six months? If you mean
that you are required to change your password every six months then you
should talk to your sysadmin and either (1) get an account that does not
require a password change (2) ask the system to schedule your task on a
machine/account that does not expire.
