on the tools - options - user info

I have just installed office 2003. in the tools options - user information
box when I entered my address and clicked OK the text stuck to the cursor why?
 
Can you explain what you mean by "the text stuck to the cursor"?

If you mean what I think you mean, you need to update your graphics driver.

I was returned to the page that I was working on and at the side of the
cursor was a tiny graphic which looked like the lines of my address althought
they were too small to see properly.
 
I suspect what you were seeing was the "Click and type" mouse pointer.

For more on the "Click and Type" feature, see the Help topic "Use Click and
Type to insert text and graphics" at

If you are not using "Click and type," you can disable it on the Edit tab of
