Can anyone explain to me how to stop Yahoo Messenger and MSN Messenger
automatically popping up on my screen when I turn my PC on . Is it something
to do with start up register ? Any help would be much appreciated. Regards ,

Hi - Go to Start--Run--type in "msconfig"(w/o the quotes) in the box and hit
enter. Go to the Startup tab and find those programs - uncheck the boxes
for them and click Apply. You do not have to exit and restart

Hi

Go into those programs and look for an option under Options/Preferences to
stop them starting with Windows. If you do go the msconfig way - you will
have to reboot to get rid of them.

Colleen:
There are two methods of boring a 5/8" hole in your wall:
#1.) Obtain a drill, fit a 5/8" bit into that drill, and use the drill/bit
combination to bore a hole of the specified size.
#2.) Obtain an axe and chop a hole that, although not of the specified size,
is, indeed, a hole.
Will Denny's method is akin to #1.)
Newtechie's method is akin to #2.)
