Suggestions:
--Check that the display adapter card is firmly seated and that the
connections to the monitor are secure.
--If the display adapter has its own fan, check that it is clean and
working. This would be a good time to check other fans and air vents as
well. Use compressed air and a fine brush to remove dust/dirt accumulation.
--Check for updated drivers for the display adapter.
--Reduce the number of programs loading automatically at startup (Start>
Run> MSCONFIG> Startup).
