Whenever I start fresh or reboot, windows does scandisk on the F drive.
There are never any problems found.
Using Win XP with all the latest updates. Disk is partitioned with C, D,
E, F and G drives. They are set up with raid system for mirrowing.
If I manually start scandisk on the drive, at reboot, the drive is checked
twice.

Scroll down to "check disc" (scandisc does not exits in XP).

Mike, You are correct on check disk, that is what I used, also, I have run
Norton 2005 disk doctor on the disk.
