Well won't be a round for a while. As part of Lucas's birthday present and a break for myself we leave for Kos (Kefalos) for the second year running today.
So from from 3:30pm today we will be "leavin' on a jet plane." Sorry unable to do a really deep voice via text.
Arrival is 9:50pm which is a bit bah! But never mind, all part of the adventure.

Gonna go a fishing
Lots of relaxing
Eating (as always on holiday)
Copious amounts of swimming in pool (oh and the sea apparently. Lucas is terrified of sharks, so wants to try the salt water variety of water this time) Turning 11 yesterday has finally given him some courage. LOL

ELEVEN!! Can't believe it!!!!!!!
be driving in a few more years and going pub with me. SCARY!!


Anyway we'll be home the 26th. Will post a pics when I get back!!!

I still remember your thread about Lucas being born, that doesn't feel like 11 years ago :lol:.

Yeah it was a bit rubbish and raining in Manchester yesterday booooo

@Ian, we flew on the with Jet2, via the 737/300
They are old planes but still widely used still today

Hope you managed to catch something else that didn't fight back ;)
 
Yeah we caught a small one about 20mins before then moved onto that blighter later.

I had as soon as it stung me squeezed and sucked out some of the poison as a reflex action just after it happened. If I hadn't I think it would have been far, far worse

Ouch!!!

Welcome back @TriplexDread, I'm glad you and Lucas enjoyed a good holiday. :D

The fish sting sounded nasty though, and the article you linked was decidedly scary; thank goodness you reacted so quickly, which probably saved you from the worst of the reactions mentioned. Phew!
 
Glad the hols were (mostly) good.

Never happens to James Bond does it? Getting stung by a spiney fish. Ouch.
