I recently "upgraded" my computer to Vista ... now when I listen to Sirius
on-line (same computer, same ISP) it plays for a while, then says "buffering"
and I get no sound till the system catches up ... is there a setting in Vista
(IE?) that's different from XP? Thx in advance....

What you have are systems of a slow internet connection.

1 Does your ISP fully support Vista with their software?
2 If using a router, upgrade its Firmware for Vista.
3 Also, check for latest Drivers for your Network Adaptor.
4 In Network Connection>Right-Click> Properties> Untick TCP/IPv6 >Reboot.

As you can see, there are a lot of reasons why it might be slow after
upgrading!

Problem solved: Inside Windows Media Player there is a box under
"Options/Performance" for "Network Buffering," and for some reason the box
was checked to Buffer 5 seconds. I tried increasing that to 60, which caused
huge playback delays. I changed it to the recommended Use Default Buffering
setting and it's working fine...
