On-line meter (or somethin')

I need some program which can measure what amount
of files (in kb, mb ...) I have downloaded/uploaded when I'm online.
Also it would be nice if I could connect/disconnect to my ISP with it.
I don't know any program of that kind, so I'll appriciate any
suggestion (shareware/freeware)

I like BMExtreme free. It does not have a disconnect/connect capability but
the author is receptive to new features.

Go for NOT latest===> v.0.8.5.1 or==> v.0.8.6.0
They are the good versions for all Windows OSes.
Re: Later v.s may not be compat. w. XP/2000.
