What is the accepted view on login/out on forums,do you log out every time
you go off it or is it o.k just to close it down when finished with out login
off. I have found that some times I have forgotten to log out,but does it matter or not?

The only reason that it would matter is if someone else uses your PC, as they would be able to post under your username if you were still logged in. I leave all my forums logged in all the time on my own PC :thumb:

I only log out if I'm on a shared PC :)
 
I don't think there is a do or don't on this one..I'd say its really up to the individual..I personaly stay logged in to everything except for my online banking..
 
I log out and close the tab when I have finishe dwith a site. Part for security and partly as I don't like having a messy tab bar.
I use RoboForm to log in and out of sites apart from money sites, so it is just two clicks and I'm in the site, easy peasy.

Hi Anbarbarian.

When I need to go to my forum sites I have to go into AOL
then scroll down the favourites list to locate the sites I need. So I was
interested in your e-mail where you mention some thing called
"RoboForm" This sounds as if it could make life a little easier. Can you
still get it?
