I have created a legal document which requires signatures
and I want to place lines in the appropriate places upon
which the signatures are to be placed. I do not want to
use a repeating "long dash" (from keyboard first key to
the left of the "plus" key) for the line. I want a solid
line. By some stroke of luck I was able to place one
signature line (on the right side of the page), but then
an extension of that line all the way to the left margin
appeared and I cannot get rid of it.
Can someone please explain to me how to create such a
solid signature line and also, how to get rid of this
extension to the left margin. I have two "how to" books
on Word, but cannot get their methods to work.
Thank you.
