Has anyone here tried some of the on demand TV services around yet, like 4-OD? I've heard the BBC are trialing an on demand service soon, and there is a dot com startup (I think it was called Joost) that will offer this service.

I'd love to hear any thoughts on the matter :thumb:

I'd like to ... don't think I can afford a TV Licence ... or the running costs.

The BT Vision V-box™ is absolutely free - all you pay is a one-off charge for connection and installation**. Then just dip into the huge selection of on demand entertainment, with films from £1.99 and music videos from just 29p and TV shows from just 49p.
In my day, when I had a TV, it was all free, was it not ? (excluding a TV Licence)

** BT Vision with free V-box™ available to new or existing BT Total Broadband residential customers (existing customers must re-contract for 12 months), minimum guaranteed line speed required. Otherwise V-box™ charged at £199. Installation £60. Connection £30. BT Home Hub required-supplied if needed to Option 2 or 3 customers at no extra charge-available to Option 1 customers for £50 (phone orders) or £30 (online). Apple Mac users may require an adapter.

Fair usage policy, terms and conditions apply.
... what the hell does that last sentence mean ???

Naw, I think I'll stick to "free" radio ... err, when are we going to have to pay for that as well ??
