I have done a system restore as I lost sound to my dvd etc after a TV card
was installed. The system is now "unstable" (?). I notice on the invoice it
says disabled on board video memory. What is it and should I have been doing
it after system restore?
Thanks
John

A TV/Video display adapter shouldnt require any need to adjust on board video,
they work sepertly of each other, you can disable it though thru device mgr,
if you do that, dont restart the computer after, shut it down, then install
the tv
card,on starting xp,install the software/drivers for the card,then (here's
the
trick) disable the on-board video again in device mgr, restart computer. If the
tv card has a port for youre monitor, and youre useing it,this is all
fine,if its a
tv/video in only, you shouldnt need to...
