OMG this is driving me crazy....LOL

I had a clean install of winXP/Pro put on my system after
using WinME and I have so many problems, from corrupt
volume something to not being able to use system restore.
Now I can't even install from windows update! All I want
to do is go back to 98....lol. I guess what I want to
know is can I run WinXp/Pro over the top of this one to
correct some of the problems I'm having with the Windows
delayed write error messages and the freezing. I don't
remember how to f/disk and do all the partitioning unless
someones on the phone with me talking me thru it...LOL
Any Takers? :)~ (Before I throw it out the window)

I hate to say it, but it sounds like to me you have bad hardware - either
RAM or Hard Disk.
As you move "up" the chain of OS's, you are more likely to discover these
problems because the newer operating systems use more resources and
therefore, "find" these problems more readily.
