Why would Microsoft deprecate something as useful as identities??? I use
them all the time on my old computer. It is the only way to password-protect
opening Windows Mail when others are in my user account. They should have
thought of that.

As has been posted here numerous times, Identities gave one a false
sense of security. Any savvy user can easily access the file location
where your (unencrypted) messages are stored.
If you want real security, log out of Windows when you leave the computer,
and give other users their own Windows login.
