I had the same problem yesterday. Driverheaven.net has them.

I grabbed the latest ones, but am a tad leery about not using the ati ones.

It looks like he improved opengl, and I do use that quite a bit oin
applications.

So going from the new 4.8s, what's the proceedure to "sidegrade" to the
omega version?

When installing any new ATI drivers, whether they be Omega or ATI, I
recommend following these steps as I have NEVER ran into any problems
with my O/S like what I read from users everytime Omega or ATI release
driversets...

Here is what I do, see if it helps you.

Step 1: Download display Drivers.
Step 2: Download Drivercleaner (latest).
Step 3: Install Drivercleaner.
Step 4: Remove previous driversets through add remove programs in
control pannel.
4a: Remove RadLinker (if present) through add/remove programs in
control pannel.
Step 5: Dont reboot if asked.
Step 6. Run drivercleaner and select ATI - then "clean" When complete
-- reboot PC.
Step 7: When Windows loads, ignore hardware detection msgs.
Step 8: Run the driverset that you downloaded.
Step 9: When install is complete follow the prompts i.e Reboot your PC
and all is done!
