well, i got a MOBILITY RADEON 9000 in a Gericom Notebook 5in1 and on
my side the OMEGA DRIVERS install and run LOTS BETTER than the
original ATI Drivers, which are pretty old and cause BLUESCREENS
(BSOD) sometimes i run BSPLayer (Video Player) and do some skipping.
follow the directions he posts on his web site, you have to remove
the Media Center or whatever the ATI app is called to install the Omega.
The 9600 can run on Omega I bet ~
Oh yeah, Omega are good for Laptop mobility users as they offer broad
compatibility.
But they perform same on mobiliity cards compared to normal Ati drivers of
same version. But you must use "mobility modder" to install ATI drivers on
laptops.
