And as ever, runs perfect smoothly!

And it's again quite nice for gaming!

I think that the framerate is slightly higher.

Do you guys completely uninstall the old Omega drivers before installing the
updated ones?
Or do you simply download and run the install?

I simply download and run the install.
 
read the readme file on his driver page for the info you need but I just
install over the old Omega ones and that is what he says to do also.

What is the benefit of using these drivers over the standard ATI drivers?

As far as I can see, none.

They are supposed to be optimised for image quality, although some say
that they can do it and still keep up framerate (others say even a
slightly higher framerate). They contain more options for things like
overclocking and softmodding. ATI have given him their approval.

Popups are fine, but Omega "drivers" will do a nice number on your system. I
wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole.

On my system the omegacorner drivers work the best!

That is not the popular opinion. MANY people (including me) are running
them with NO problems at all, not to mention that they are MUCH easier to
install.
