Hello all,

I have attempted to set my clock up from 270 > 290 with the Radclocker
utility that comes with the latest OmegaDrivers. It always seems to revert
back to its default. Is there something im missing somehow? Otherwise, my
9500 pro 128 on these drivers are running very nicely now.

thanks,
SL

Depends, some cards have "locked" bios-es. And then you need to
download and flash up a cracked bios.

Yup, a bios that stops you from overclocking, ah... I guess it's to
limit garantuee claimes.

I self got a hercules 9500 Pro and I can overclock this one... to 9700
Pro speeds. Not to shabby, those hercules cards, sometimes you just
need to crack the bios first :-)

for radclocker you adjust the sliders and press the set button - play a game
to test if its stable (no texture flashing etc) and if its okay go back to
radclocker panel and under bootup option press use current setting.
(otherwise speed will revert to bios default on reboot.

First thing you need to do is, look on the card to see what it has for ram.
It will be either "Samsung" or "Infineon".Then you need to check ram speed.
Each type of ram uses a different Bios. You need to be careful.
I chenged the Bios on my Radeon 9500pro Saphire to allow it to overclock
very high.
It Become comaprable to my non-pro 9800.
Still slower. But much, much faster than it was.

BTW. I didn't find taht Radclocker, or Powestrip, or any other overclocking
software did anything compared to flashing the Bios.
