I've not really been watching the Rio Olympics - I suppose I'm mildly interested, and sometimes catch up on the highlights, but I haven't been watching much. However I thought this was quite interesting:

Who is your Olympic body match?

Turns out mine is a lady called Linda Sembrant who is a Swedish footballer. In terms of men, my closest match is a Canadian wrestler called Haislan Antonio Veranes Garcia

What's yours?

Peng Tang, a table tennis player from Hong Kong. :D

And women?????? I didn't want to be seen to be similar to a woman but here goes.....................

Jessy Kramer, a Dutch handball player. Phew that's a relief. Thought it might be a steroid soaked Russian
shotputter. :D

If they asked for detailed body measurements I'm sure I'd have come out as either a swimmer or a shotputter - I have surprisingly broad shoulders for a girl! Could probably throw a good punch given a bit of training though

no one is old enough to represent me ... however, Jurgen Spiess a German weightlifter is
recommended as my double. :)

I can indeed lift a small wet paper bag, in one go.

Richard Hounslow, Canoe Slalom apparently.... Or if we're doing women a rower for team GB called Katherine Grainger. She won gold at the 2012's.

Going by my matches I have the perfect physique for either rowing or hockey...

Ah, hockey... brings back memories of cold days, freezing fingers, astroturf skinning my knees and getting covered in bruises. I don't think I'm made for sport

I didn't like it either, less so after a guy on our team lost several teeth one morning....

I had a go at this turns out I am matched with Dumitru Captari but he is a hell of a lot younger than me

I would have definitely preferred hockey in those conditions and with all that protective gear! Winter in the UK just seems to permeate through your clothes because it's always damp. The first thing that springs to mind when I think of hockey at school (which we only ever played in the winter) was freezing cold fingers, and the pain of when they get hit by someone elses hockey stick. Ouch! :(

Finland seems like a lovely place, I'd love to visit there someday :)
