Hello, I have a question with a connection problem

the problem appears to be this:

I has 2 email accounts
(e-mail address removed)
(e-mail address removed)

The have been set up under different identities wiht
outlook express 6.

I can connect to the mail server no problems, except when
i switch identities. When i switch logins i receive a

"SSL: 160
err:0x800cc0oe"

connection message.

do you have any possible answers to this?
Im thinking it is an outlook express problem, and not the
expired certificate as i can still connect when i close
down outlook and reopen it.

Thanks alot

Turn off email scanning in your anti-virus. It provides no added protection
at all and is just a marketing gimmick.

Auto-Protect or whatever the AV calss it is important for most people. Mail
scanning adds no added protection at all and causes problems. Ask ANY OE
MVP who's been here a few years.
Most of us will also agree that OE and McAfee should not be installed on the
same machine.

Frank - apologies for jumping on you - URL's that Robear posted duly read
and noted, I shall be more careful in the future!

Best!
