olethk32.dll error message

xp starts to load and after about 5 mins. I get this bad
sum error olethk32.dll error and when I put the disk into
restore it, It does not work! any suggestions

Bad sum or "bad checksum"? If bad checksum, you're on the right track by
trying to replace the olethk32.dll. Normally this file resides in the
Windows\System32 folder. This is also a file that Windows File Protection
keeps an eye on so be sure to refresh the copy in the
Windows\System32\dllcache folder first.

NOTE: If you do not have a standard XP CD (your Windows was preinstalled
and the computer manufacturer provided a recovery CD instead of a standard
CD), look for a folder on your hard drive that contains the XP setup files.
The folder is usually named i386.
