Help,

I trying to use the Grid Control. When I select it and
put it into a Form. I get a message:
"The OLE server isn't registered. To register the OLE
server, reinstall it."

When I originally installed MS Access 2002, I installed
everything there was to check off. I haven't a clue as to
what the message is advising.

How can I install the OLE server. Is it on another CD in
my Office XP Developer package????

Thanks for any help you can give,

Burt

You could try and manually register the control.

I believe the developer edition comes with the msflex grid.

You can use he command prompt, and go:

regsvr32

However, any reason why you don't use the native built in controls?

Take a look at the following screen shots of using built-in controls and
features of ms-access. Likely, you don't need a grid control...

Albert,

It didn't work.

I found the folder Msdatgrd.ocx was in and I went into
Start/Run and type "regsvr32 c:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office Developer\env\controls\Msdatgrd.ocx" (that is the
location of Msdatgrd.ocx in my PC). Clicked OK and
received the following message "Load Library
("c:\Program") failed - The specific module could not be
found."

I also went into a DOS window and attempted to navigate
down to the folder, but no dice, everytime I typed in the
path, I received a message saying that the path could not
be located.

Have anymore ideas.

Thanks for your time,

Burt
