I have four systems in the house: two WinXP, one Win2K and one Macintosh.
Besides this issue I have another where not all systems can see all other
systems, but I think I will solve this one first. That's why I say "some
other" computers in the next paragraph.
A few days ago I set up all computers to have their workgroup set to MSHOME.
Yet one of the WinXP units sees a workgroup in the network places named
Workgroup. If I open it, I see the some other computers. And, if I open
MSHOME, I see the same set of some other computers as well.
But no other machine sees a workgroup named Workgroup.
Anyone know where this is coming from? I considered some kind of cache, but
it's been about four days now.
