I have a floppy disk from my old word processor with graphic images. I think
they are BIM files. I can't open them. Can they be opened. I have XP Home
Edition. Using Foxfire.

You *think* they are BIM files....could you
look at the file name and post the extension?

The floppy disk Says WP -6500J WP-7550Jplus. They are graphic Art Images. I
assume the WP means Word Processor. Disk won't open in Photo Studio. In
Microsoft Word or Front Page the image titles are all followed with BIM; ie
Border.BIM; Kitty.BIM, etc. When it opens it is not readable and says it
needs conversion.

The results of a Google search for:
WP -6500J WP-7550Jplus
....indicates the disk has something
to do with a Brother Word Processor.
Must be an installation disk.

I never heard of a .BIM file but the
following sites mention them...I have
no idea how to view or convert them.

Good luck.

WP -6500J WP-7550Jplus are Brother Word Processors, not a graphics program.

Do a 'net search on both or either of those terms to get more(little) info.
