Unfortunately, our network still has stations running on
broadband. We are trying to upgrade stations to W2K based
machines, but we're having problems getting W2K to
recognize and install the old UB NIUpc cards. When we try
to force a hardware install, it will go through the wizard
and the INF file will let us pick our card, then we can
mnaully set the memory, I/O, etc., but on the last step
the wizard kicks an error message saying "style of the INF
file is not what was expected" What is this? The file
looks the same as all the other INF that functions fine.
Is it just a compatability issue with W2K? Any thoughts
would be greatly appreciated.
