When I open PowerPoint 2003 a task pane opens on the right listing many
shows I created in the past. How can I delete these? Right or Left clicking
does nothing other than trying to access the show and I get an error message
saying the file is invalid. I just want to clear these out. Stan

I don't know if this will work or not, but try Tools | Options and set the
"show most recently used" files list to 0.

Thanks a million, Echo. It worked fine by just unchecking, which deleted the
number in the box but the old presentations came back when I put the
checkmark back. However, when I unchecked and restarted, the shows were
permanently deleted. Good tip which I should have known because the same
applies to recently used files in Word. Thanks again. Stan
