Old photographs to CD's

I have the Epson Perfection 2400 Photo scanner and use
Windows XP. I have dozens of old 35mm filmcards and 50
years worth of old photographs. I would like to scan all
of these photos and put them on CD's to give to my
children. I would like suggestions on how to best do this.

You'll need a decent image editing program.
I recommend MS Digital Image Suite 9 but
there are others that are worth a look also...
