hi
i've just upgraded to outlook having been using outlook
express. i saved my old files (by navigating to the
folder that held them) which are in a .dbx file. does
anyone know how i can get them into outlook (either into
the inbox or into another folder created for them?
os is xp pro, outlook version is 2000 sr-1.
also, as far as i can tell outlook now stores its files
in 'personal folders'. where do these folders reside?
another option would be to reinstall outlook express just
for the purposes of viewing these mails... what do y'all
reckon?

You can only view .dbx files with Outlook Express. To get the files to be
accessible for export or import, you need to open it with Outlook Express
and then import from OE into Outlook.
