Old mail & contacts gone on upgrade from 2000 to 2002

Hi

I just upgraded from Outlook 2000 to Outook 2002 and seem to have lost all
my old emails, address books, and contacts. Were they archived and can I can
them back so that I can access them.

I was surprised this happened.

Hi again

OK, I did find the Personal Folders with all my info in them...thank goodness.
There are now 2 contacts folders, 2 inboxes, etc. One is under "Personal
Folders", and one is under "Outlook Today. If I try to send a new email I can
not click on "To" and access my contacts. Now I need to ask how do I
integrate everything so I can use it?

Upgrades never touch your data files. Just look for you Outlook data file
and open it.
The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
