Just added an my old drive hard drive to a new system (to
me) and cant boot XP--error message: ***STOP: 0x0000007B
rtc.
any ideas, Thanks, Bill.

Take the old drive out, that's clearly the issue as the blue screen stop
message is indicative of a hardware problem. Either the drive is not
properly configured, jumpers, cables or the drive might be from some
proprietary setup from which it cannot be moved.

Do you have both drives connected to the same cable? If so, set the jumper
on the back of the drive to "master" (check instructions or diagram on drive
for proper jumper setting), and set your old drive to be "slave".
Otherwise, if they're not on the same cable, make sure for each cable that
one device is set to "master" and if there is a second device, set it to
"slave".
