How come it is hard to find old rom games for the spectrum,C64,Xl800.

None of these old 64 or 128k manchine go anymore.


So how come we can,t find the roms.

What is wrong with playing the old 1980 C64 games or xl800
 
Emulators are readily available, as you know.

ROM's, mostly, still have copyright on them.

In other words, to host a ROM is much the same as hosting Warez.

However, all those ROM's are old now, it's unlikely any of the original copyright peeps would prosecute, they'd just warn people off.

Search a little harder, they're out there ;)
 
i found an excellent emulator a few years back and it had 1000s of roms with it, but i deleted it when i ran out of disk space :(

was bloody excellent, wish i could remember the name

was it mame dos or spectrum
