Epson Stylus Pro (not XL)

I just wonder, is this printer worth using? I just
found it in a dumpster in perfect condition with
no ink installed, should I risk buying some to try
it out? It only does 720x720 so it might be good
for painting art I suppose, or grainy B/W photo
art... whyaddya'all think?

Or is there a better NG for this question?

for free, it is a decent printer. You could put a quad tone grayscale ink in
it. Then it might make pretty decent black and white. Check
http://www.inkjetart.com for the quadtone info. You could also set it up to
do things like print onto inkjet printable CD/DVD's. Would make a good banner
printer, or a text only printer. Or there is always Ebay. Might fetch nearly
$100 for it.
