Old document on a blank Microsoft works document.help!

I need help with removing an old document out of a blank new document I am trying to get. Everytime I open a blank doc I get the same old doc. I have tried removing Microsoft Works and reinstalling it, I have tried to remove that old doc out my computer and it is still coming back! Its a nightmare!PLEASE HELP
