Is Microsoft going to ever fix the problem with running old programs?

Like for example, running LIST.COM or SHEZ.EXE is slow in a Dos box.

I had to purchase and install TameDos...

Just wondering...

Why should Microsoft fix something they had nothing to do with?

I would recommend updating to more current versions of the applications you
are wanting to run and/or finding a better alternative.

Remember, Windows XP does not support (other than emulation) 16 bit DOS
apps.
This is the way the world is going, not just Microsoft. 32 and 64 bit
applications and processors.
