OL2007: Categorise messages based on sender's category

Hi everyone,

Say I nicely categorised all my contacts, and I now receive emails from
them. Obviously the email from a "red" contact should be categorised as
"red". Any idea on how to achieve this? The rules allow me categorise mails
from specific senders, but it would be a pain to keep the rule in sync with
the actual categories.

While I don't consider that obvious, rules or Tools>Organize>Using Colors
are the only ways I know. When you receive a message, you're not receiving
it from a contact so there's no way to test the category of the sending
address - it has none.
