Calendars cannot be "mail enabled" as they only track appointment items, not
message/note items.
What exactly do you want to do? Display your public folder along side your
personal/exchange folder? Simple, add the public calendar to your Public
Folder Favorites (F1 help is good for this procedure) and then add it to
your "shared calendars" view.
