OL2003 and 2002 compatability issue?

We just had Outlook 2003 (w/ Small Business Server 2003) installed at work.
I have Outlook 2002 at home. I
tried to send home a calendar appointment via "Invite Attendees" (as I have
for years so I keep my calendars synced) but when I got home the message
didn't look like it used to and there was no way to "Accept" etc. (so it
automatically places it on my calendar). the message icon in the inbox
looked like a normal email icon and so did the message body, no bar with
"Accept" "Deny" etc... I can't believe the two aren't
compatible, or did I do something wrong? I have no custom forms associated
w/ calendar(s)

BTW... I have OL 2002 Pro SP3 at home and yes the "iCalendar" is checked in
'Tools-Options-Calendar Options'

Perhaps you didn't send the messaeg to your home address in Rich Text
format.

It's a callender entry "New Appointment" with the "Invite Attendee" button
at top, then "Send" I see no place for Rich Text Fomat option...? Here at
home I use HTML for new email, Plain Text for newsgroups and they work ok.

Open the Contact record of the person to whom you're trying to send the
invitation. Double-click the email address. Examine the "Internet Format"
drop-down. What does it say?

Will check that out, will let you know...

That was it!! It works now. I never even heard of that option... and never
would have looked there. I never had to worry about that before (with OL
2002). My addresses were set to "Let Outlook Decide the Best Format"
Thanks!!

I see it now that I looked for it (OL2002) but my old OL 2002 at work and
the one at home both worked fine without having to set it to Rich Text
Format. It must be because now I have 2003 at work and 2002 at home. Thanks
again.!!
